More on embroidery
In my last entry, Gary told me that I should do a cross-stitch of my bikes, which reminded me that I never posted pics from my bike-related embroidery. Hooray, topic for an entry today! This was Colleen's Christmas/birthday/housewarming present last...

Nice ride report! Would be nice if you included some GPX or KML files (with any personal tracks you don't want published of course) so we can check out the roads in Google Earth for future trip planning
...just saying :)

Oh, good idea. I've got to learn how to do that.

While stationed at Travis AFB in Fairfield I use to travel around the same area you went over. This brought back alot of great memories. Had a Vespa 150 back then (1962)

I am so jealous - beautiful roads and you do such a nice job writing, describing your adventures.
Thanks for providing dream material for my children and I.

*grin* You know I laughed out loud at that snarf. I just added it to Markeroni for you -- I put it in Napa county, Clearlake; hope that's accurate. :)
Great write-up, as always.
Here's some geeky stuff about national forest road numbering. I looked it up because I was curious; I live pretty much *in* Shasta-Trinity National Forest. ;)

Dammit woman, you're doing everything in your power to take me off the paved roads where it's safe, aren't you? :P
