My NCWHL team has a name: we're Val's Spiny Dogfish! Best not to ask, really. ;)
We played a tough game against Toxic Shot yesterday, a game that I'm very happy to have tied. I played D for the first time in a couple of months and had the fantabulous Andrea as my D partner. *happy* Between good advice from both Andrea and Amy (our goalie for the game), I was able to play fairly decently.
The only downside to the game is that I started feeling kinda woozy partway through, sort of a breathlessness/dizziness that still hasn't completely gone away. I think it's because I haven't been sleeping too well lately and probably haven't been eating enough on top of that. Anyway, as a result, I was skating pretty hard but couldn't really keep plays or strategy in my head. Kinda like being in a fast-skating cloud. ;)
I recommend giving the Endurox a shot. It won't help with the lack of sleep but it really seems to help with the recovery after playing on not enough food.

Sounds like a boatload of dehydration or anemia [I know both from past experience]... try to drink more water during the game or a gatorade beforehand and see if it is dehydration.
