There won't be "normal" write-ups of the Alaska trip, since I'm trying to sell multiple articles about it to various magazines.
Instead, I'm trying to put together a sort of FAQ about motorcycling to Alaska: pros and cons of the gear I took, maps of the roads, etc.

Obviously work-in-progress -- let me know if there's something you'd like to see there. :)
Thank you for writing this blog. I'm going on June 28 08 and I'm taking 4 other riders all very good, strong riders. I sent comments on tool and bike prep. I think I will start submiting the count down after the new year (to my motorcycle club web site) I read and learn from everyone I read. The people who exect and plan for no problems are the ones who seem most suprized when they find out that the ride to Alaska is not a vacation...It's an adventure, and adventures are not for everybody.
thank you,
tom lloret
