Looking for a good deal on tankbags? NewEnough.com has some Held luggage at pretty amazing prices. I just picked up a gigantic Performance Tour tank bag for $70 including FedEx shipping -- can't beat that with a stick.

Damn you Carolyn - I LOVE this site and now I've gone and spent $274. {Sigh}....I opted for the Nelson Rigg tank bag because it came with the winged magnet base. The Held tank bags were AWESOME but they are out of the winged magnet bases and only recommended the other magnet base (I'm assuming the one you got) for flat-topped tanks. You'll have to let us know if that works on your SVS. :-)

I'm looking for a tank bag myself. Did you get the 5-magnet base? How is it working for you?

Yup, I ordered the 5-magnet base. I haven't received it yet -- I should get the tank bag early next week. I'll definitely post about it when it arrives. :D

For the record, Tony has the same bag- bought new with the flat base. He has used it with both the SV and V-Strom and looked at me like I was crazy when I bought one with the wing base.
The magnets are amazing. They are so strong we can always throw the tank bags against the chain link fencing at races and have them stay- no matter what we have in the bags.
Of course, I became a serious groupie after seeing how well Tony's bag worked, so take all this gushing with a grain of salt.
